Before starting to plan the house build we had to verify that the authorities would allow for a house to be built on the plot. Our original request was for a house about 30 metres further down the plot but this was rejected as the land is deemed as protected status from construction. The authorities did offer us a compromise in building slightly further back up the field.
We made our request in August 2009 and this was granted in September 2009.
